There are about 391,000 species of vascular plants currently known to science, of which about 369,000 species (or 94 percent) are flowering plants, according to a report by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, in the United Kingdom. Plants hold a special meaning between cultures and religion. They can heal, be used as medicine, for food and with many more uses. A lot of plants are used for cleaning air pollution in people’s home which estimated 33.1 million in households.
I wanted to show the process of how more simplified. The original idea was a really neat idea, but I soon realized the app itself can be confusing for users so when I revamped the app, I made it easier for users to navigate.
This little plant device is able to keep track of watering, soil levels, nutrition's of the plant and will send you messages and alerts to your phone if your plant is needed. Just copy the device number and add it to the plant you desire.
All plants were created in Adobe Illustrator, I wanted to keep a vector and clean aesthetic going through the app. Also the idea of having the users pick their own plotters by subscribing was another idea to keep the users engaged into the app.
